NIKITA ONLINE Announces the Development of a New Game Sphere 3: Enchanted World

13th of April 2015, Moscow. — NIKITA ONLINE, a leading Russian online games publisher and developer, is currently working on the long-awaited threequel of the first Russian-made client MMORPG Sphere: the development status of Sphere 3: Enchanted World is already nearing an early CBT stage.
NIKITA ONLINE’s in-door development studio, which includes the members of the original team responsible for pioneering Russian online games industry with the first locally developed MMORPG back in 2003, is about to hit the finish line in the years-spanning marathon to create a new chapter of legendary Russian game series. Even as the development is still in progress, Sphere 3: Enchanted World is already being translated in English.

“In a way, the release of original Sphere — we made it twelve years ago — marked the beginning of online games in Russia both as business and as entertainment. The game, by the way, is still operational and after all this time many players still dwell within its virtual world. There are also a great number of Russian online gamers who associate the word “sphere” with good days of yore and it puts an extra load of responsibility on our shoulders,” states NIKITA ONLINE’s CEO Stepan Zotov. “We believe that neither newcomers to the world of online games, nor the hard-bitten MMO veterans will be disappointed with our job when it’s complete.”

Sphere 3: Enchanted World is a new epic journey to the fantasy realm of Sphere, inhabited by creatures of four playable races co-existing in a state of precarious equilibrium which rapidly falls apart in the wake the ancient evil. Sphere 3 developers have gone to great lengths to preserve the signature features of the original Sphere: variety and depth as regards to game mechanics. The whole new non-target combat system and elaborate storyline were incorporated in the game since the earliest phases of development.

In their work on new Sphere the developers were associated by the well-known Russian-speaking science fiction and fantasy writer Alexander Zorich and sound design professionals from Strategic Music company.

The first information on the game is available on Sphere 3 official website (in Russian): It is also where the players can already submit their requests to participate in the upcoming CBT. Sphere 3 official community on the largest Russian social network is online, as well:
